Today the cast of Extreme Makeover Home Edition appeared in Georgia once again to do the ever so famous "Door Knock"! Who? Jeremy(dad), Jennifer(mom), Josie(daughter), Jacob(son) Williams of Pine Mountain Valley, GA. According to the builder's site, at birth Jacob was diagnosed with Spina Bifida(a birth defect in which the backbone and spinal canal do not close before birth). A few years following Jacob's birth, Jeremy was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease(a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement).
